FunHL Stats, Unofficial, as of December 17, 2006

Wow! What a night. The Severed Heads "widen" their lead on the Great Whites to 3pts. The Bladerunners retake second place as the Highlanders falter on the biggest night of the week. The Edge take a massive hit to their +/- players and fall back to the worst week of any team in the league. All while the Shadowmen not only consolidate their lead in the Predator Cup but take a big, single night jump atop the Omnivore standings. With only three games on tap tonight the Predator Cup race should be fairly stable tonight but the Severed Heads-Great White game is going down to the wire. Stay tuned...

And, because there has been no editorial content on it from Doug, the Pred is about to see, it looks like, no less than 5 teams hit next week with 10 points... yes it's a tight race for... well... 5th place over all. But impressive for those of us in the middle.

What's the schedule for next week? Do any of Lost Boys, Ramapithicenes, Great Whites, PV, or Highlanders play each other?

And what about the Wolves? competition for 4th place heats up quite a bit when it's only one win away. (It looks like 4th place is special, what with it being highlighted and all.)

My 6 pts (Parise-3, Ruttu, Jagr, and Havlat) should give me a score in the mid 40's and keep me pacing with the big boys - and gaining on the GWs.

Sadly I only garnered 4, which if Doug's stats to date are accurate, will fall short of the 'Heads total. The GW's will have to pick up wins elsewhere to make the Challenge Cup playoffs
