Yeah, I decided to play with things just to see what different options I can create.
I never liked our original look (which was just the basic template + a few tweaks), but so far I can say we have three options to consider;
This one (call it Red) The previous one (call it Blue) And the Black background/white lettering (call it Black)
I got a number of dispositive comments regarding the black look, so I decided to actively consider different options. I may pursue other looks, but any and all feedback is appreciated.
Iggy has unfortunately been spindled, folded and mutilated in order to comply with the dimensions of the banner, but despite (and even because) of this distortion, I actually kind of like it.
The latest change was small, I swapped the nav bar's silver for black - et voila, it's the something like the classic 'Hockey News'look.

The blue bar looks fine but i dont really like the documents part of it now. It looks really bland with the background the way it is.
err i mean good job....
Just as long as Cam avoids the color pink, I'll go with the flow while he tries different looks.

No problem with the experimentation but so far you can put me down for Coke Classic.
Much better to showcase a Flames player at top of page that is not a member of the 12th place team or letting in 6 goals a night.

Feel free to experiment - not keen on the blue myself, and the picture of Iggy looks somehow distorted...

Did not really like the black background. Better with dark lettering on a light background.
