We're so proud...

The Washington Capitals deliver a 10-2 drubbing of the Boston Bruins, and few tidbits of interest to the pool and to certain members of the Great Whites squad...

- Kudos to Alexander Ovechkin who hits 50 goals, then adds two more for good measure and the hat trick

- Boston starts a rare five game week on an unbelievably bad note

- GW centre Sergei Fedorov shows up for 21 shifts, 16 face-offs, and not only remains pointless, but somehow goes minus-1, reinforcing the GM's decision to bench him

- GW winger Alexander Semin collects a point, yet also manages to go minus-1

It only gets more interesting from here on in...

:-P

Nice night for the Edge. In addition to Ovechkin's 5pts, Thornton has 3 and Cheechoo 2.

Better still as I believe Cheechoo was played TG for another point...
