Let's face it - It's not a question of support, or fan base. But can that fan base support the financial demands of the modern-day NHL? Can they afford the unreal cost of tickets without rich oil companies to buy up huge seat quantities like in Calgary? Even with the new CBA, how do you drop costs and still be competitive?
