GOY Candidate

I like the goal a lot, but I do have a couple of quibbles with it;

- it's in the shoot-out, which isn't IMO quite as legit as scoring during a game

- he runs over the goaltender with the move, and again, IMO this could have been disqualified as goalie interference as easily as counted as a score

i thought there was a forward momentum rule in shootouts that once you stopped moving forward your attempt was over?

Its something I wondered about as well, Jussi Jokinen in particular seems to violate this rule frequently.

That said, 'braking' is certainly allowed, and in Blake's goal his momentum still carried him into the goalie - so technically speaking he didn't reverse his forward momentum completely.
