Well Doug, you apparently have a superstar Oiler to watch that is also one of your RFAs. The power play is defintely going to be entertaining but poor Roloson. The Flames may get less shut-outs vs the Oilers now but the score differential should increase ;-)

I was surprised that the Oil was willing to throw around "Hamrlik-like money" for a guy like Souray - 6'4" 226lbs. Then again, unlike Hamrlik, Souray can hit the net and at 135PIM can hit someone else if the situation calls for it.
As I was telling Bob, while I think the signing helps the Oilers - it probably further reduces Souray's value in the pool. He is now one of two guys, along with Pitkanen, expected to generate points for a rather goal-challenged Edmonton squad so his expected drop from his career highs of 64pts, which was going to happen anyway, now is almost certain to return to his historical range of 30+pts.
let us say 45pts and 160 min =85pt d-man
or 120min=75 pt...
assuming no bus
