Challenge Cup Schedule 2011-2012

Hi All,

Here is your Challenge Cup Schedule for the upcoming season.

The games get underway on October 6th with the defending Challenge Cup and Predator Cup Champs facing off against the Great Whites in one of 6 neutral site matches to start the year.  The second set of neutral site games will happen in the week leading up to Christmas, week 12.  The FunHL All-Star Game will occur during the three days leading up to the NHL All-Star break, which is week 17.  Other than these weeks the Challenge Cup schedule will once again feature a series of home and home matches through the season against each and every team not playing neutral site games for a total of 20 games for each team this season.  Top four teams will then square off in two best of three semi-finals with the Challenge Cup going to the winner of the best of three held during the final three weeks of the NHL Regular Season ending no later than Saturday April 7th.

Let's drop the puck!

I only get to take lunch monies from the skirt wearing northerners and the knuckle draggers once?

You are so lucky.

Severed Heads mgt would like to propose Yaroslavl for our neutral site games in honour of former winger Igor Korolev.

Failing that, we propose Moonbase Alpha as there are many underserved Heads fans on the moon.

Interesting that our last two games are against the Bladerunners, as they could determine our playoff fates. We'll be 'putting on the foil' for those games!

Our annual 'Squish the Fish' promotion will be taking place in weeks 2-3 as we face off against long time rivals The Great Whites in our first home and home series of the season.

I hear Vegas is giving the Shadowmen 40-1 odds in Weeks 10 and 11. Weird eh?

Thanks Doug for doing this! Looking forward to the season beginning.
