I gotta think that the Sedins are on the shortlist for everyone replacing an FP, as well as Getzlaf, and RFAs Stamkos and Kane. Does Ryan get picked as FP ahead of any of them? Are there other candidates that warrant consideration before Ryan? (Keith?)
Kopitar?? C.Giroux?? Ryan has advantage of being LW ... but not sure he beats out any of the guys Cam mentions, or the two I just mentioned above (well, maybe Giroux - barely).

But Smithson the OT Gamewinner? Ouch!
Yeah but the forward was David Legwand - a way above average defensive centers, and the defenseman was Norris nominee Shea Weber.
Still, it was pretty freaking sick.
Should Ryan be an FP? That is another question.
