Since no one else has mentioned it...

I hadn't seen it in any posts, though I haven't scanned back to May/June, but as I read it, for the record, goalie shutouts will continue to be worth 3.75, which remains the baseline figure as per last year's rule and only a mild change in league wide scoring, down 0.14.

That's what I calculate too.

The silence has been deafening.

All hail the absence of a goalie points debate this summer and congratulations, again, to all who contributed their time and thoughts to devising the current system.

That's exactly what I calculated back at the end of April. I thought I had posted it back then but maybe I didn't. Nevertheless, echo Dan, Brian, and Doug's comments on our current goaltending stats system. May we hit more goals this season so that a shutout equals 4.0 rather than 3.75 and yet Luongo manages to have a great year, statistically, with multiple shutouts. That would be great. Also, in Cameron's top ten, I really hope he's right that it's going to hit the thousand points whether that's a typo or not.
