If rule proposal 1 is passed. The week of when WD1 should occur should be determined for a standard. We would still be allowed to adjust this plus or minus a week as we do today to accomodate schedules.
If we are going with only one WD - a position I support - it should be held on a Saturday before the half-way mark of the season. My thought would be to hold it in early December, between 2 and 3 months into the 6 month season.

Actually the halfway mark is more like early January (1st week)though next year is an Olympic year so the schedule will be a bit awry...
