Great Whites ownership has been in an uproar lately, and suspicions are that management heads may be about to be bitten off. Though the team remains competitive in the hunt for both the Predator and Challenge Cups, the reality is things could be better. Based on original baselines from draft day, the Great Whites could have remained with a single, unchanging line-up from the start of the season and have the best record (vs any other teams draft day baseline), and what's more, be in second place overall in the current actual standings in the shadows of the Shadows. Clearly a combination of poor trades, line-up choices and prospect promotion suggest alterations in the Earth's magnetic fields have disrupted the sharks sense of direction.
Most painful is the rampant offensive display from former FP Chris Pronger, who has shattered all previous performances with an ongoing bid to be the highest pointing D-man in the league. Clearly prior coaching kept him on a more defensive track, much to the detriment of the team. The result, however, is indecisiveness, with an urge to trade to better the team on the one hand, and a fear of further damaging the team in the process...
Stay tuned for more developments...
