Bob’s suggestion to give a full week after the NHL deadline for our trade deadline. Again, this shouldn’t be too difficult to edit rule 41.1 to read “second Monday” as opposed to “first Monday” following the NHL trade deadline.
Again, makes sense - our trade deadline would be the 2nd Monday after the NHL trade deadline. If the NHL deadline ever fell on a Monday, that would mean our deadline would be exactly 2 weeks later (the longest possible interval)
I would prefer we lock in the trade deadline to a particular 'week' of the pool, than adjust the dates based on a potentially fluid NHL date.
If we have a 27 week season, would a week 23 trade deadline (leaving a month for the FUNHL playoffs?) make more sense than dicking around with the NHL's date whatever it is?
It makes figuring out the deadline from the start of the year MUCH easier. Thoughts?
One of the reasons we have tried to base our deadline around the NHL's deadline is the thought that we should know where everyone has ended up before we close down the trading post.

I'm OK with that as long as we pick a time that ENSURES our deadline falls after the NHL's...
Do we know now when that deadline is?
I guess the idea is not to set a week based on this year's deadline, but choose a FuNHL week that can be fixed for every year...
