Severed Heads lw James van Riemsdyk is the latest to join the ranks of Head's players selected for "upper/lower body" interest by the hockey injury gods. He joins rw Patrick Kane and c Sam Gagner on the list. "Everyone is just fine and will be ready to go by the start of the season," insisted GM Cam Hilton, "this is all precautionary. We have a fine relationship with not only the hockey injury gods but all delusional, unverifiable supernatural creations."
Agents for the three players have been insisting that they really are not Severed Heads and would ask that the wrath of the injury gods turn their attention to players who are clearly under long-term Severed Heads contracts.

They are the ONLY gods that i believe in AND they shall NOT be mocked - The Furies and Fate [also better known to FUNHL GMs as "Injury Gods"...
What you fail to grasp is that the injury gods are granting the Severed Heads a blessing by selecting only our RFAs for their wrath, thus lowering the likelihood they will be poached at an inopportune round.
Severed Heads mgt may not believe in the injury gods, but we do fear and respect them.
