Crosby

It appears he is still dizzy with headaches. Last i heard he was walking around Pittsburg wondering where all the Timmy's went.

At what point does Doug start contemplating a new FP and what value does he have at this point? I think its a real possibility he may not play this season even if his symptoms go away.

What are your thoughts??

Indeed it would be a sad day for Hockey if Crosby could not play. Concussions are a funny beast - with a variance between players. Horton in BST seems to be back and Connelly in TO but others like Savard are done.

Steckel got away with hit that putdown Crosby at the Winter Classic IMO and let us hope he can play close to his previous play by the start of the season.

Good Luck to Sid

Until NHL takes them stupidly...game will be hurt when superstars are taken out. No idea on what happens w Crosby - keep hearing different things. Say he does take a year off, but then comes back to old form? If Doug traded him, I'd understand but Doug can't just drop him for a new FP. Price for Crosby in a trade? High. The other question tho, anybody out there that would want to pay a high price for Crosby at this exact moment in time? In summary, good luck Crosby and good luck Doug!

Crosby's value is as low as it will be before he announces his retirement. If he had a knee injury, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

The Highlanders are going to stay the course with Sid. If he hasn't played a game by this time next year, maybe Taylor Hall takes his place but I have no plans on trading him. At this point, his situation can really only get better IMO.

I once sat Paul Kariya for an entire season so he could recover from a concussion, I'm sure Doug can handle doing that (and more) for Crosby.

Can't see Doug winning much except our respect so long as 'The Croz' is sitting in a dark room waiting for the universe to stop spinning.
