Has anyone made reservations for dinner? We've all discussed it, but have we picked a place and called in? By my count a reservation for 10 should be more than enough (because 2 GMs won't be there at all, and that way everyone can join at the last minute if they need to.)
Um, if a place is picked, can I suggest we make the reservations in the name of "Dr. Dan Ross."
First, cause Dan's a pretty cool guy--who wouldn't want to sit at his table?--and my experience is being a "Doctor" gets you better service and easier reservations. (What can I say, a lot of dinner's with Bob.)
And Second, that way any of us can call in to "make sure my assistant got the details right." And confirm the reservation happened.
So, where're we eating?

I don't think the Cattle Baron takes reservations on weekends... according to their website anyway but from experience, web sites not always best source of info. Except the FUNHL blog of course.

The goal is Cattle Baron South, and you are correct Brian they don't do reservations. However I have spoken to them in advance, and as long as at least a couple of us can be there by 6-6:30 we should be good. If not we can always wait in the lounge till a table is ready and watch sports on on of the 7-8 TVs they have in there.
I would like to confirm attendance for poker though, as well as get advance requests for beverages/snacks to have on hand. Please post a reply in this thread to confirm if you are coming to poker and what you would like us to have on ice for you...

Dr. Pepper and potato chips and poker chips is all I need...
I will dis-confirm both events for myself - at great personal anguish.
Dr. Pepper works for me, as do the assortment of edible chips.
I'm in for dinner and cards.
Chips of any sort would be swell.

I'd recommend that he not pay for his first drink.
I'm happy with whatever for snacks/drinks. Hopefully won't need too many poker chips. I'm operating on broken foot + crutches so will need something to put foot up on but I'll try not to be too needy.
As to Corey's news, definitely deserves a congratulatory drink.
