One more + from Semin, Keith or Sharp and I could have taken two awards from you on the final Sunday. Much closer than I thought.
Fantastic season Brian. Look at your baseline - 1025pts! You all but win the Predator Cup on draft day. Wonder if Backstrom and Stamkos had anything to do with it :-).
Were I to do it again, pretty sure I don't trade away Carcillo and Keith for Michalek and Kronwall :-).
2nd for the second year in a row. Getting stale, will have to find some way to move up a slot next season.
Congrats indeed Brian! Well done - I agree a strong farm team and draft started you off very well with a baseline almost good enough to win outright! That being said you were not passive, trading your way to a wider margin victory and the Omnivore as well. Condolences to Doug on falling just short on 2 of 3 trophies...
The Great Whites will have to be content with 8th (just missing a top half finish), but pleased with a solidly positive Omnivore score after languishing at the bottom of the minus ledger for much of the season.
Also happy to see my SH's 1st is now the 2nd overall pick in the PrD '10!
On a more positive note, not to take anything away from the champs, the Knights Templar have had arguably thier best season in a couple catagories. Highest point total, and best omnivore finish (first time in the +).
Oddly enough, finishing third and not even making it into the Predator Cup finals will have to be improved next season.
Again CONGRATS to the Bladerunners, and thanks to the stats guy (Doug) and all the running commentary on the blog. And of course thanks go out to the blog guy himself (Cameron) for another job well done.
Thanks guys and congrats on fighting the good fight, you all rock for making this the best pool our there.
Doug - what can I say man. Ya, bridesmaid awards leave you wanting more but wow, you did great. You had me anxiously watching stats right to the end - including the ANA-EDM game yesterday evening where I was praying for Anaheim to stop scoring! Thanks very much as well for the amazing stats keeping + Cam for the blog. This pool rocks. Did I already say that?
Bob - good try with copying Doug's valiant effort with +/- in final week to try and finish as high as possible. Hey, stop murdering all those coaches and maybe one of them can concentrate on the Predator instead of fearing for his life ;-)
Dan - you definitely improved your team. There was a point where you were 'battling for' the Herbivore, and then you turned things around. You've got some great pieces in place to build on (Green, Doughty, Tavares,,,nice!) Sure - if you want to trade any/all of them away during the summer, let's talk ;-)
Mike - definitely a great season for you as you exchanged both FPs and finished 3rd! Your monster +/- d-men were amazing (in addition to the 3 Ks- Kane, Kopitar, Kipper et al). I expect you'll be scarier next season, starting off with more pieces in place.
Am sure will write some more thoughts on the season / comment on more teams once some of the euphoria wears off.
cheers
Brian
p.s. oh ya - thanks to Richard as well for winning the Herbivore, and keeping it off everyone else's shelves (see, people from Toronto are occasionally good for something ;-) ;-)

Congrats Brian on the Triple!
Doug, great fight!
Tho not be petty, check my final week stats...i count 29.34
Just getting it all correct tho it makes not real difference in the standings...
Good night to this season and i hope fun was had by all...hehe
Ooops, forgot to count all of Bob's +/- players. Got 'em now. No changes to the standings (Predator or Omnivore) but now more accurate.
