While the Oil appear incapable of matching the Flames on the ice, in cyberspace I'd put up the Oilerblogosphere up against the Flamesblogosphere any day.
Case in point, the mock arbitration the the Copper and Blue gang have put out for Dennis Grebeshkov. Really, really well done.

It lacked the funny, but it was definitely a good read!
Sad but true, the Flame-o-sphere lacks anything approaching the talent of Lowetide or mc79hockey in terms of quality blogs. But they are getting better. Matchsticks and Gasoline (see our side-bar) is easily the best Flames blog and is improving steadily.
That all said, I find Lowetide is simply so awesome that I can't see anything competing with it.
I enjoy LT too but he has an unhealthy fixation with the Monreal Expos and baseball genereally.
To me the value of the Mock was to give a real flavour of the process. The conclusion $3.25 million was just off the actual $3.15 million they just agreed to. Kudos to Copper & Blue, that's pretty close.
