Got to run to court. Highlanders still hold a slim lead with 6 more teams within 15pts. Severed Heads have week's best total at 45pts - move into 3rd, Great Whites had the week's lowest total at 18pts - slip into 10th. Shadowmen and Ramapithicines have week's only Challenge Cup tie. Until tomorrow.

Just a minor correction, but there are six teams within just 12 points, and seven within 15!
This is definitely the tightest race I can recall, but I'm hoping that one of our fine historians could go back through the records and confirm?
Last but not least, the Severed Heads had the weeks best total - and that was with a goaltender registering a total of 1pt for us.

The Severed Heads are certainly a force to be reckoned with. Interesting note on your recent trade with Richard, and by no means the final word on the matter: the players Richard received outscored the players you received - at least for this week.
That would in part be because Nabokov only played one game, and in part because Redden and Kaberle both had their best weeks on my roster in the same week.
You have gone from sub-par to excellent goaltending but at the cost of your defense. I think it was probably the right call but you are back in familiar territory - questions on the blueline.
