Olympic Rosters

Hey all,
Before Olympic hockey starts, we need to submit rosters for the in and out of Calgary teams to create the All Star Olympic teams for the FuNHL.

Each GM needs to submit 2 forwards, 1 defenseman, and if applicable, 1 goalie for consideration. The final team will be 12 forwards, 6 defensemen, and 2 goalies chosen from up to 6 nominated.

Keep in mind, like the playoffs, teams that go farther will have more games played, and potentially more points...

Post nominees below in comments...

Thanks!

Dan

  8. So we have 9 submissions so far...

To clarify, Are KT "in Calgary"?

  9. KT are in the 'Out of Calgary Conference"

    CALGARY: BR,GW,RAM,EDG,SCG,PV

    OUT of CGY: HL,LB,KT,WLV,SEV,SHAD

I vote for Nabokov and Lundqvist as Calgary goalies (sorry Miller).... DAN - do stats for both goalies count?? if so - Cam might want to change his vote to someone other than Luongo for Canada's 2nd goalie.

  10. Can we get nominees from Darrell, Rob, Corey and votes on goalies?

And yes, Brian, given two goalies counting, I would encourage 2 teams rather than starter and backup from one...

  13. As the Oympic tournament quickly arrives, I suggest that Goalies get scored 2pts for win, 1 for OTL/SO loss and 0 pts for Regulation loss. I take it that we are only scoring goals and assists and not PIMs or +/-...

If Darrell of the Personal Vendetta or Rob of the Wolves do not get their submissions in, please allow the following suggestions:

    For Darrell:

    F: Zetterberg-Sweden
    F: Datsyuk-Russia
    D: Lidstrom-Sweden
    G: Vokoun-Czech? or Slovak?

    For Rob:

    F: Toews-Canada
    F: Eriksson-Sweden
    D: Pronger-Canada
    G: Rinne-Czech? or Slovak?

    That's All for now...

  14. I believe Chris would then select Hornquist-Sweden as his 2nd Forward over Samuellson {same team though) - The Calgary Conference can choose...

  15. Vokoun is the starter for Team Czech...Rob doesn't have an Olympic goalie as neither Rinne or Huet are on any of the finalized teams...

Getzlaff is but the OCC will best CCC withouthim...hehe

  16. Richard of the Lost Boys is changing his Forwards from Bergeron-Canada To Kovalchuk-Russia to display his FPs...

  17. Rob of the Wolves is changing his 2nd Forward to Elias-Team Czech and not naming of Ericksson-Team Sweden.

    Thanks
