Hockey rumours

Darren Dreger of TSN drops a couple of doozies...

- Lecavalier to the Kings

- Jack Johnson to the KHL!

The first isn't a shocker, at least not to me. The Kings have lots of chips to offer in trade, especially the young defensemen that the Bolts covet.

Johnson was supposed to be an elite defenseman by now, and yet has already been traded (for Tim Gleason), and has been passed on the depth chart by several King prospects - including Doughty, Harrold and Quincey. Makes you wonder what the kids issue is.

  1. Injury issues have been a set back. I think he more talent than Quincey + Harrold so being passed on the depth chart by those 2 might just be a temporary thing.

Would be very strange to see him go to the KHL.

  2. Lecavalier to the Kings... hmm, for what. LA does have lots of future / promising depth actually so maybe getting a star player right now would be a good move.

Mike making Kopitar an FP would be interesting...
