- Tanguay, though a nice support player, is simply not a super-star, and in any given year he is a candidate to get flushed for someone with higher upside.
So, we have;
An elite P1 RW, an average at best centre, an above average P3 G, and a mediocre FP-LW for
An injured but legit #1 LW, and an elite FP-C and dreck.
It's a close call, but the classic standard is 'who got the best player in the deal' - and for me that was Chris getting Spezza.
