Week 11 Line-ups - The Happy Holidays Edition

As we hit the start of Week 11, The Scourge has 33pt lead over over The Blades in 2nd And 133pt lead over the KT in 12th.  Yet, 6 team are over 300 points...BUT, "Rebellions are based on Hope".

Post-WD1 Week 10 Line-ups

With 1/3 off the season done after WD1, only 2 teams  are over 300 points.  But a lot of hockey is left to play,so do not despair just yet...

8/12 GMs were mostly online, plus 2 official proxies and one by phone, WD1 took a mere 2.25 hours.  I say good stuff, gents!

Two trades have so far been made post-WD1, both involving the Highlanders.  We shall see if more are made before the line-up deadline.

WD1 DRAFT ORDER AND TIME

  Hello All GMs:

WD1 will occur on Sat. DEC 10th at noon MST.  This will occur on SKYPE and take a MAX 3 hrs.

Final WD1 drop deadline will be Friday night at 6pm MST.  Please no trades after that as it ONLY confuses who may be available from team drops.  If you have not published your drops by then (Mike Breakenridge, U are my crystal ball), I will make those drops for you... 

Furthermore, you must drop at least 8 players from each of 5 positions (L,C,R,D,G) and at least 2 D.  If you wish to drop more than 8 that is fine as long as announce your drops before Friday at 6pm.

The Draft Order is based on the standings finished at the of Week 8 - non-wraparound

Bladerunners take the 4th Predator and the Personal Vendetta claim 5th Challenge Cup!

Congratulations to Brian and the Bladerunners!  Their GM Sherlock has masterfully guided them to their 4th Predator Cup!  While over the last month things seemed dire, The Bladerunners were able to pull away at the end.  Brian joins Dan and Doug in 4 Predator Cup Club.

Meanwhile, after behind 1-0 in games to the Severed Heads, Darrell's Personal Vendetta managed to tie series in Week 26 and win the Challenge Cup for the 5th time with a 41.995 to 32.617 victory in the final week.  Congratulations to Darrell for his dominance of this trophy.

The Bladerunners margin of victory was close to 18 pts over Cam and 20pts over Collin who's last week's drive was too late but placed Darrell in 4th 38pts back.  Those 4 teams were the only ones that broke 900 pts.  Only 4 teams broke 800pts 2 teams broke 700pts and 2 teams were in the mid 600pt range.  I believe this is Cam's second straight second place finish.

Speaking of lows, the Wolves finished last securing their Herbivore 1st PRD pick in the Fall whereas Dan's Great Whites avoids it by 3pts.

I urge all to check out the final website rankings.  It was a wired season of trades going awry, injuries at the wrong time etc.  One  could argue 1 of 7 different teams could have won one if fortune shined upon them.

Congrats to FP Kane for the ART Ross and FP Ovechkin for the Richard.  Ironically both FPs for the EDGE who place third...i think the team's best ever finish.

Finally the Omnivore winner will be announced later.

The FUNHL Finale - Week 27; The Challenge Cup tied entering Final Week!

And here we go as we enter the last week of the season!  The Vendetta took advantage of the S'Heads injuries to tie the Challenge Cup finals at 1-1 with a 37.95 to 30.17 victory.

However, despite the loss of Stamkos, The Bladerunners pushed their lead to 19 pts at 899.65 with the Severed Heads at 880.90, The Personal Vendetta at 861.76 and the Edge at 858.76.

With 6 days remaining as there are no games on Sunday, It looks the Bladerunners are looking to claim their 4th Predator Cup.  But one never knows until the end.

The remaining standings are yet to be determined.

FUNHL Week 26 - The penultimate week. And Challenge Finals Week 1 Results

And so with two weeks to go th Bladerunners hold the lead with 854.0, 5pts ahead of the Severed Heads with 849.7.  In third is the Personal Vendetta with 823.7.  By the way, IN game 1 of the Challenge Cup Finals, The S'Heads beat Vendetta 37.5 to 28.3.  THUMP!  Let us see how he responds in game 2...Meanwhile the status of the Omnivore remains unknown.

Meanwhile the Predator Cup Game of Death is too close to call...

Regardless the final jockeying for the rest of the standings remain.

Week 25 FUNHL Line-ups - Challenge Cup Finals Week 1

Three Weeks Left in the FUNHL Schedule an the Bladerunners are hanging on with 813.8 followed by the Severed Heads at 812.2 then in third the Personal Vendetta with 796.4.  A lead of  about  2 and 18 pts with 3 weeks remaining.  It should be fun.

Meanwhile a Classic Blood Match for the Challenge Cup finals pitting 2nd vs 3rd overall in the S'Heads vs the Vendetta.

Challenge Cup Finals Settled

Semi Final One:  Personal Vendetta defeats the Scourge 2-0 in games

Semi-Final Two:  Severed Heads defeats the Bladerunners 2-0 in games

Because of the Two Sweeps, The Challenge Cup Finals start Week 25.

Meanwhile, after Monday night, The Blades with 790, the Severed Heads with 786 and the Vendetta with 771.
